"Tutorial: list a service with Enquire pricing"

A worked example for services — list a personal-training session with "Enquire for price" so buyers message you for a quote, set Service fulfilment, and use scheduling to show it only during the hours you work (with weekly repeats).

Some things don't have a fixed price — you quote per job, or you take an enquiry first. For those, use Enquire pricing. Our example: a personal trainer listing a 60-minute coaching session.

1. Name and describe the service

Create the item as usual:

  • Name: 60-minute personal training session
  • Description: One-to-one coaching tailored to your goals, at your gym or mine. First session includes a fitness assessment and a plan.
  • Categories: search "fitness" and pick a relevant subcategory.

2. Turn on Enquire pricing

In Pricing, tick Enquire for price (no fixed price). The price rows disappear and shoppers see Enquire instead of a £ amount, with a button to contact you. Use this for bespoke services where the price depends on the brief.

3. Set Service fulfilment

A service isn't posted or collected, so set Fulfilment to Service. That tells shoppers it's delivered as a service rather than shipped.

4. (Optional) Show it only when you're available

If you only want the listing visible during certain hours, tick Schedule when this item is available and fill in the window:

  • Window starts: the day and time you start (e.g. Monday 09:00)
  • Window ends: when you stop (e.g. Monday 17:00)
  • Repeat: Weekly so it shows the same hours every week
  • Stop repeating after (optional): a date to end the schedule

Outside the window the item is hidden from the storefront; leave the toggle Off to keep it visible all the time. (This controls visibility, not a booking calendar.)

5. Publish

Set Listing status to Active and Save.

What the shopper sees

A card showing Enquire instead of a price. On the item page they read the description and tap through to message you — the enquiry lands in your inbox, and you reply with a quote and next steps. There's no basket or card payment for enquire-only items; you agree the details in the conversation.

Want to take payment up front at a set price instead? Use a simple priced product (one price) or price tiers (e.g. 30-min vs 60-min sessions).
