"Tutorial: add a café item to your kiosk menu"

If you run a café, bar or food stall with the Kiosk add-on, any item can also appear on your scan-to-order menu. Our example: a coffee shop adding a Flat white to the kiosk.

Before you start

Kiosk is a paid add-on. Set it up first — see Kiosk — scan-to-order to subscribe, add a location and print your QR codes. Once it's active, the item editor shows a Show on kiosk menu toggle.

1. Create the item

Make the item as normal:

• Name: Flat white
• Description: Double shot, silky steamed milk. Oat milk on request.
• Pricing: one price row — 3.20
• Fulfilment: Pickup only (collected at the counter)

2. Put it on the kiosk menu

Tick Show on kiosk menu. Customers who scan a kiosk QR can now order this item on the spot. (The toggle only appears while your Kiosk subscription is active.)

3. (Optional) Only show it during service

Use Schedule when this item is available with Repeat: Daily to show the item only during opening hours — e.g. starts 08:00, ends 15:00, repeating daily — so the breakfast menu drops off automatically.

4. Publish

Set Listing status to Active and Save. It now appears both on your normal storefront and on the kiosk menu.

What the customer sees

After scanning the table QR, the customer browses your kiosk menu, taps Flat white, adds it to their order, and pays at the counter or online — then watches the live status until it's ready. Manage the menu and orders from your Kiosk screens.
